 0.50 cup Chopped onion
 1 Pound lean ground beef
 2 Minced cloves garlic
 1 tsp Hot pepper sauce
 ¼ cup Red wine vinegar
 3.50 cups Fresh tomatoes, chopped
 1 tsp Dried oregano
 1 tsp Ground cumin
 2 tbsp Chili powder

Crumble the beef into a stockpot and saute it over a moderate to high heat.

Add the garlic and onion. Cook the beef until it is browned all over.

Drain off the fat. Season with the vinegar, tomatoes, chili powder, cumin, hot sauce and oregano.

Bring the chili to a boil and then turn the heat down to low and simmer the chili for an hour.

Stir it occasionally so it does not stick to the bottom of the pan.

You can cook this chili without beans recipe for more than an hour if you like, for the flavors to intensify and blend better.
