Sloppy Joe

 12 oz Ground turkeyuse the correct amount for two servings on your plan
 ½ cup Chopped onion
 ½ cup Chopped bell pepperred, green or both
 2 Slices 50 cal. or less bread
 ¼ tsp Morton’s Lite Salt
 ¼ tsp Ground pepper
 ½ tsp Mustard
 ½ tsp Honey
 ½ tsp Hot sauceoptional

Place a medium sized skillet over medium heat and spray with cooking spray

Add ground turkey, onion and peppers to the pan and cook until turkey is completely brown.

Season with Morton’s Lite salt and ground pepper.

Add tomato sauce into the turkey and veggies and cook for 3-4 minutes.

Stir in honey, mustard and hot sauce. Use a little more or less to adjust to your taste.

Turn off heat and let sit covered while you toast the bread.

To serve, spoon half of the mixture over 2 slices of toast per serving.
