I've updated the chili recipe to make it easier and more straight forward. You control how spicy you want it by which peppers you choose. I like a mix of bell and hot peppers. This seems to give a good mix of flavor and spice. Enjoy!

24 oz Ground Turkey use the correct amount for 4 servings on your program
1.50 cups Ripe tomato (chopped fine)
1.50 cups Peppers (chopped fine)use whatever heat level you like. I use a mix of bell and hot chili peppers
 1 cup Onion (chopped fine)
 8 tsp Olive Oil
 1 cup Cooked brown rice
 1 cup Water
 1 tsp Morton’s Lite Salt
 0.25 tsp Ground Pepper
 0.50 tsp Garlic powder
 0.50 tsp Onion powder
 0.50 tsp Dried oregano
 3 tsp Smoked paprika
 3 tsp Chili powder
1

If your slow cooker has a saute function, brown the turkey in it with the olive oil. If not, brown the turkey in a separate pan.

2

Chop all veggies fine and add to the slow cooker.

3

Add in the browned turkey, all the spices and the water.

4

Stir together and set your slow cooker for at least 4 hours stirring every hour or so.

5

When cooking is done, stir in the cooked brown rice and let it sit for 5 minutes to warm up.
