 ¼ tsp Chives(Extra for garnish)
  Garlic powder
  Onion powder
  Ground pepper
Ingredients
 1 lb Cauliflower florets
 8 tsp Butter
1

Put about 2 cups of water into a pot that will hold your steamer basket. If you don't have a steamer basket, place a dish upside down into the pot and fill with water until it comes just up to the top of the plate.

2

Add a heavy pinch of Morton's Lite Salt to the water

3

Put pot on high until it boils. Lower to medium low when it starts to boil.

4

Add cauliflower florets to the pot, cover and let them steam for 10 minutes.

5

Cauliflower is done when a fork pierces the stem end easily. We want them on the mushy side

6

When done, remove cauliflower and allow to drain for a few minutes.

7

Using a potato masher or a big fork, gently mash the florets to break them up.

8

Stir in butter and spices.

9

Mash the mixture until it gets to the consistency of mashed potatoes.

10

Top with a pinch of chives if desired and enjoy with your favorite main dish. Serve 1/2 cup per serving. This should make 4 servings.
