I'm finding more and more uses for my air fryer. So this week it's Fish and Chips, the ultimate pub food. We did french fries a few weeks ago, so you can search the recipes for "french fries" and get the recipe there. I will focus on the fish here. I used cod, however, tilapia and haddock both will work well here.
Grind up 6 almonds in a small food processor or coffee grinder.
Dry both sides of your fish. The dryer the better
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Rub almond powder on both sides of the fish. It may be easier to put almond powder onto a plate and pat fish onto the power.
Pre-heat air fryer to 400 degrees for 5 minutes and spray basket with nonstick cooking spray.
Add fish to air fryer and cook for 10 minutes flipping over at about 7 minutes. Fish should look golden brown and crunchy.
Serve with a wedge of lemon over salad greens
NOTE: If cooking both french fries and fish separately in the air fryer, I recommend cooking the fries first and keeping them hot in your oven at 250 degrees. Serve once the fish is done.
