Prep Time5 minsCook Time10 minsTotal Time15 mins
1 oz Dark chocolate 80% or higher
 12 AlmondsPlain and unsalted
 4 tbsp RaisinsAny color
 Morton's Lite SaltOptional
1

Start by chopping up the almonds. The finer the better.

2

You will need two 1/2oz. pieces of chocolate for this recipe. Try to keep each piece intact in a square or rectangle if possible.

3

Use a small frying pan, cut 2 pieces of parchment paper into a circle to fit on the bottom of the pan.

4

Place one of the parchment papers in the pan and place on stove over the lowest heat setting. Lay your chocolate on the parchment. Over the next 7-10 minutes the chocolate will slowly start to melt. ***You can also do this in the microwave if you desire. Just place the parchment on a microwave safe dish and place the chocolate on top. Microwave on medium in 20 second bursts until the chocolate looks melted and gooey.

5

When the chocolate is melted remove from the heat and slide parchment and chocolate from the pan onto a dish. Sprinkle almonds onto the chocolate and then gently but firmly pack on the raisins.

6

Lay the second piece of parchment on top of the raisins and press firmly. The treats should be sandwiched in between a top and bottom layer of parchment paper. Place another dish on top and flip everything over. Now the raisins and nuts should be on the bottom and the chocolate should be above them. Let everything rest for a few minutes and the pop them in the freezer for an hour before serving.

7

When serving, sprinkle with a small amount of Morton's Lite salt if desired.
